Internship

The Marketing and Communications Writer/Content Producer will produce blogs, seo marketing materials, and various social media posts. In collaboration with members of the Marketing and Communications team, s/he will serve as a content writer for a wide variety of digital and print work designed to engage customers, including, but not limited to, website content, blog, and social media posts. Flexible hours, willing to work with existing work schedule and school schedule.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages writing projects, as assigned, from inception through delivery.

  • Writes and edits copy for content marketing purposes (blog posts, emails, social media), as well as communications about organization's events, industry news, etc.

  • Assists with social media and media relations content creation efforts (writes posts for social media channels and press releases, encourages dynamic discussions, etc.).

  • Maintains, enforces, and helps to update brand identity and voice & tone standards.

  • Ensures branding standards are applied across all content created.

  • Performs other duties as requested.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You need to have your own laptop to work off.

  • Preference given to those who live nearer to our Wallkill, NY office

  • Preference given to those who are available for a period of months

  • Marketing, Web Design, English, Journalism, Communications, or Writing background preferred but not required.

  • Must be okay with working in a startup home office alongside 2 very friendly, Boston Terriers, Caesar & Chewy.

Digital Marketing Intern

Brass City Custom - Wallkill, NY

Part-time, Internship

This is great opportunity for individuals interested in SEO, PPC, and Social Media Marketing who are looking to get hands-on experience, training and guidance in pursuing certifications.

Brass City Custom is looking for an Intern. The candidate would be responsible for performing both onsite and offsite (link-building) SEO efforts, crafting engaging social media posts, and writing content on behalf of Brass City Custom and our clients.

Internship hours are variable and can work around your school or work schedule.

Brass City Custom is a Custom Apparel Print Shop located in Waterbury. While most of our work entails digital marketing for our own organization, we have a wide range of clients and projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Improving organic search rankings via on-site SEO. (Tags & Content Writing)

  • Improving organic search rankings via off-site SEO (link building).

  • Writing relevant and SEO-friendly content for our website

  • Composing and posting to all social media networks

  • Interacting with followers

  • Image research and manipulation. (knowledge of photoshop a plus)

  • Design and creation of social media marketing campaigns
